Design elements like our slightly raised bar, lighting, and layout are intended to make our cocktails, and the artisans that make them, the focal point of our guests’ experience.
In keeping with our philosophy, our menu is chef driven with clean, simple, and elegant offerings distinctly rooted in Japanese cuisine, yet thoughtfully crafted to complement our cocktails.
We procured Virginia’s first and only Toki Highball Machine. The machine gives whiskeys and other rare spirits a water bath, chilling them to the perfect temperature before mixing while also producing water with three times the carbonation of champagne. The technology provides a unique effervescence and smoothness to all highball cocktails. A rotation of seasonal highballs are a mainstay at the bar, ranging from complex and funky to simple and straightforward – offering something for everyone.
We believe in building on the history of Old Town and guiding it into the new age. With King’s Ransom, we wanted to do this by creating a place of casual luxury and sophistication, embracing dark colors and elegance, with just enough edge to keep things interesting.
